Back issues and Class Information Manager
Thanks for my first (and last) copy of Integrate. I enjoyed it and found it interesting reading - is it possible to get hold of any back issues?

I read Geoff White's article with particular interest as I have been experimenting with Excel as a mark book as well. He mentioned a program called Class Information Manager, which I have tried to download without success as the web page he gave does not seem to exist. Was there a mistake in the address or could you put me in touch with Geoff to get more information?

Thanks for all your hard work,

Kate Sim

Some back issues used to be available on the web site, it was reading them that made me join! They are unfortunately offline while the new site is being redeveloped but are due to come back at some stage.

The web site Geoff quotes is correct but it seems to be offline now... You can still get a copy from:

http://www.radnor.addr.com/teachinged.shtml

or you will find similar software here for comparison:

Postman Pat
I wrote this some time ago now but thought your readers might enjoy singing it in the bowels of their school somewhere.

(To the tune of Postman Pat)

ICT, ICT, Information Communication Technology,
Early in the morning,
While the kids are yawning,
Zap 'em with a dose of ICT,

ICTC, ICTC, Information Communication Technology Capability,
(that rolls off the tongue eh?)
get off that computer,
move before I shoot yer,
I'm capable of anything you see,

IT was the name, that we all knew,
IT was the name, that we, all, cared, for,
Tell me who's to blame, for all this change,
Now we sound like something you'd drink on a summer’s day...

ICT, ICT, Information Communication Technology,
I have started twitching,
Since acronyms they're switching,
But Blunket Boy's a really happy man...
though someone please explain it if they can.…

Yours,
The Merry Strummer.

Hmmmm I’m not sure we should encourage such frivolity within school premises!
