| Apart from looking good on your CV, the journal really is nothing without your submissions. ACITT needs to reflect members’ views and share practice. Do you have a successful lesson strategy? Has something gone badly? Have you chosen a piece of new equipment recently? Then why not share your knowledge with your colleagues. Help develop our subject by pooling our expertise. Go on. The Journal is divided into various sections. Below is the guidance for the types of submissions that would be appropriate in each section. |

| Theory Examples: Debates, What is good practice, Exam related articles… All articles are major works which may contribute to the development of the theory of ICT teaching. All articles with abstract and bibliography as appropriate. 3-12 pages in length. |
Technical Examples: Broadband, Networking, Network management, tutorials Articles that support the more technical aspects of work including maintenance and programming. No specific length but reference to sources. |
| Practice Examples: Commentary on lessons, Ideas on teaching specific topics in ICT, Concepts & Misconceptions, Classroom organisation… All articles should contribute to the development of the practical aspects of ICT teaching. At least 2-4 pages. |
Your Say Examples: Emails, letters and excerpts from discussion groups... Short selections from members’ communications. Raising issues of importance with a consensus of voices. Informal, from one sentence to a page. |
| Resources Examples: Factual articles which provide professional development for members, what is behind, beyond. Short lesson descriptions, Lesson plans, Policies, worksheets, assessment tasks. Ongoing series of articles which could be used by teachers in their daily work or could extend the thinking of teachers in an area. Articles generally 1-4 pages. No summary or bibliography. |
Reviews Examples: Books, Websites, Software, Hardware, Articles that consider commercial and free resources that influence the teaching of ICT. |
