This SoW was developed jointly by ACITT and the
London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. The scheme has since been
adapted by teachers in Lambeth, and by the London
Borough of Greenwich. The later is the latest version,
designed to be a realistic interim plan leading to the QCA SoW and
is in word 97 format. (incl. lesson plans)
Informatics is a complete scheme of work for
years 7, 8 and 9 National Curriculum Information Technology. It
has been designed to provide progression in learning objectives
across the Key Stage.

with the support of Microsoft UK Ltd. It started off as an attempt
to prove that Excel was capable of more than it was being used for
and it developed into a set of exercises intended to raise
teachers' informacy (IT Capability) by looking at tasks related to
their own administration activities.
